WEUC ANNOUNCEMENTS

TODAY: BIBLE READING PLAN/Monthly Reflection Gathering: from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Friendship Room.

2025 ADVENT/CHRISTMAS NEWSLETTER available at the back of the church for pickup.

2026 OFFERING ENVELOPE SETS are available for pick up at the back of the church.

HOMECOMING BANQUET Sat. Dec. 6th at 4:30 p.m. in the auditorium. 

WHITE GIFT SERVICE WITH CHILDREN Sunday December 7th, 10:30 a.m.  White Gifts and non-perishable food items will be received. White Gift envelopes will be placed in the bulletin  prior to White Gift Sunday.  The monies from the White Gift envelopes will be used to help needy families and persons in our community at Christmas time.

CHRISTMAS FOOD BANK DRIVE: This year, we want to encourage the congregation to help fill the hampers of needy families in our community during this Christmas season.  Baskets are available in the Narthex for non-perishable food items. 

DEADLINE FOR CHRISTMAS MEMORIALS:  Wednesday December 17. Christmas memorials (flowers) will be purchased to decorate our sanctuary and to be delivered to sick and homebound members of our congregation with donations made in memory of loved ones.  Donations may be left in the church office or on the offering plate.  The names of those remembered will be printed in the Sun. December 21st bulletin.

CHRISTMAS SPECIAL APPEAL: This year, the boiler expenses have been over $14,000.  This is due to repairs and preparing the boiler for TSA inspection which takes place every 2 years. We need your help!  Donations to help offset this cost would be greatly appreciated.  Envelopes marked WEUC Special Appeal will be inserted in the bulletin for the next few weeks.  Donations (include envelope number  & name) may be left on the offering plate or with the church office.  You may also e-transfer a donation using online banking and sending to weunitedchurch@hotmail.com

ADVENT MORNING PRAYER & BREAKFAST FELLOWSHIP: We invite you to join us for  a special morning prayer on Sat. December 6th at 7 a.m. in the Sanctuary.

WEUC COUNCIL MEETING Tues. December 9th, 10:30 a.m. in the sanctuary. Members may pick up minutes at the back of the sanctuary.

COMMUNITY GARDEN MEET & CHAT meet every Mondays, 12 noon in the Friendship Room.   The group will resume the first week in March.
